After the sugar-laden weeks leading up to Halloween, I've decided to go into a big of a sugar detox. I was just eating too much sweet things and I think that it was starting to negatively affect me.
There is no way that I can cut sugar out of my diet completely, but there are things that I can do to limit how much sugar I consume. I'm still allowing myself to have one treat a day, whether its a couple of homemade cookies, a piece of really good chocolate or a small serving of apple crisp. I'm also trying to cut back on how much white, refined carbs I'm eating, because those may has well be sugar too.
Is anyone else feeling the need for a little sugar detox?
