Boom!

Last weekend I had hoped for a nice, calm holiday with friends.

Then these arrived...and it became a different kind of party.

Lets just say that this one was called "Air Raid" for a reason.

"Blue Bayou"?

I would really love to meet the guy who comes up with these names.

The ammunition was lined up at the end of the dock, lit and then there was a lot of running back to shore.

Boom!

Watching the fruits of their labour.

I never realized how much smoke fireworks produced until I saw them in these pictures.

A fireworks battle began with the cottage across the lake. We won.

Feeling awfully proud of themselves.

And at the end of the day, even I have to admit that it was a pretty awesome show :)
