This recipe was super easy to make and it made plenty of granola to share with friends and family in cute little jars.
What you'll need:
3 cups of uncooked Oatmeal
1 cup Wheat Germ
1 cup of Dried Fruit (Raisins, Cranberries, Apricots, Cherries)
3/4 cup Pure Maple Syrup
1/3 cup Packed Brown Sugar
2 tbsp Canola Oil
1 tbsp Vanilla
1 tbsp Cinnamon
1/2 tsp Salt
Optional: 1 cup Chopped Nuts (Almonds, Pecans)
Mix all ingredients together in a large bowl.
Transfer to a large baking sheet lined with parchment. Bake for 325°F for 35-45 minutes, stirring once halfway through.
Allow to completely cool on the tray.
Store in airtight containers.
I'm looking forward to add this onto my morning yogurt or as a crunchy topping to my oatmeal!
